About The Position

We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a team of 5-8 analysts supporting Operations leadership. This role combines people leadership, forecasting, financial analysis, and executive partnership in a fast-paced operational environment. The ideal candidate has prior management experience, strong forecasting and budgeting skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights to senior leaders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field. Open to other Bachelor's depending on work experience.
8+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, operational finance, project finance, or related experience.
Prior people-management experience.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience supporting or presenting to senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

Aerospace & Defense, Government Contracting, Manufacturing, Program Finance, or Operational Finance experience.
Estimate at Completion (EAC) experience.
Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge.
SAP and/or Power BI familiarity.
Exposure to FAR, DFARS, or government contracting environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, EACs, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
Partner with Operations leadership and approximately 6-7 VPs on financial planning and decision support.
Review analyst work for accuracy, quality, and business relevance.
Analyze labor, spending, and operational variances and explain key drivers.
Translate financial results into clear business recommendations.
Improve reporting, forecasting processes, and analytical tools.
