The North American Sort Center team is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), investment strategy, and new transportation initiatives for this operation. This role will partner directly with multiple senior directors within the Northeast Region of Sort Centers to influence business decisions across operations and finance. A successful candidate effectively manages relationships with business partners, provides sound and thoughtful decision-making, and delineates between competing priorities in a quickly changing environment. The candidate should demonstrate amazing analytical skills, ability to work with ambiguity with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills as direct interaction is required with worldwide operations leadership. Additionally, this is an exciting opportunity to partner cross-functionally to ensure informed decision making, innovation, scalability, and sustainability is achieved for a growing network. The candidate will work with multiple cross-functional teams from Operations, HR, Capacity Planning, Long Term Planning, FP&A, and Tech teams to focus on creating continuous improvement opportunities across internal and external stakeholders to define, design, and maintain performance measurements, reporting and reviews. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to lead root-cause analysis and uncover core issues to drive cost reductions with stakeholders, manage, evaluate and create meaningful business reporting, and build and maintain complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.
