About The Position

We’re looking for someone to join us as a Finance & Accounting Manager/Lead. In this role you'll ensure that we can make business decisions off of timely, accurate and effective financial data. This means ensuring we are collecting the right data, we are booking that data accurately, reporting it effectively, and staying on top of our compliance obligations so that they do not slow us down. This is a full-time, remote-first role in Canada, the UK or the EU.

Responsibilities

Ensure that our team is able to close the month within 3 business days.
Book revenue/expenses from various systems, apply inter-company transfer pricing, make accruals where needed, perform journal entries, etc.
Prepare individual reporting for distinct legal entities, as well as a consolidated view for operating groups and the group as a whole.
Support with sales tax/VAT calculations, reporting and filing.
Coordinate with our external tax partners to run year-end prep, corporate filings and tax optimization projects.
Embrace technology, modern tooling and AI to automate and augment as much as possible.
