About The Position

Vermeer is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented leader to oversee wholesale credit and retail finance programs and lead projects that improve processes, systems, and customer and dealer experiences. The role connects tactical objectives with long-term business strategy and optimizes people, processes, and technology to maximize cash flow, mitigate risk, and drive revenue growth while maintaining exceptional customer care.

This position manages credit operations, financial reporting, policies, and performance metrics, while leading cross-functional programs and projects from planning through execution. The role is hybrid, and occasional travel is expected. Specific work arrangements should be discussed with the manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear strategic communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and build strong relationships across organizational levels.
• Ability to act with urgency, set ambitious goals, and drive accountability.
• Commitment to high-quality results, excellence, and meeting customer needs.
• Experience in program and project management, including prioritizing work, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and translating business needs into executable plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit operations and retail finance programs to support revenue growth and risk mitigation.
• Review, adjust, and revoke credit lines based on financial strength and compliance requirements.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports, and conduct variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive operational improvements, strategic projects, and business transformation efforts.
• Lead cross-functional programs and projects from planning through execution, including scope, timelines, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and implementation support.
