About The Position

This is an exciting 14-month maximum term maternity leave opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with the business, solving complex accounting and commercial problems, and turning data into meaningful insights that support better decision-making. Working closely with the Finance leadership, channel owners and operational teams across the business, you'll play an important role in supporting project performance tracking, feasibility analysis, forecasting, financial reporting, tax calculations and strategic planning across both current and future developments.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Financial Accountant / Finance Manager within the construction or property industry
• Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI experience viewed favourably
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• CA or CPA qualified
• Relevant post qualification experience within commercial finance or a related field

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two direct reports
• Deliver month end close for a portfolio of Channels
• Financial Reporting and Tax Accounting
• Deliver meaningful commercial insights and reporting to support business performance and decision-making
• Maintain detailed feasibility models across projects and business channels
• Support the business in adopting smarter and more efficient ways of working
