About The Position

Revin is seeking its first finance hire to establish the company's finance function from the ground up. This role will report directly to the VP of Operations and leadership, with responsibility for the company's financial model, forecasts, and all financial transactions. It is a founding, hands-on position requiring the individual to build the financial model, manage the closing of books, set forecasts, and handle invoice chasing. The successful candidate will design systems and plan for future hires as the company scales. This is an opportunity to own finance end-to-end at a rapidly growing company, transforming spreadsheets into the infrastructure for board-level decision-making.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a founding finance role at a high-growth startup.
  • Hands-on ownership of modeling, close, and reporting.
  • Top-tier education from a highly selective and academically rigorous environment and/or experience at top-performing SaaS or AI companies.
  • Ability to build financial models from scratch and present to a board.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comfort with accounting and billing systems.
  • Bias toward action and iteration.
  • Desire to own a function and build a generational company.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Ability to write SQL, Python, or use tools like Claude and ChatGPT to pull data independently.

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial model, including building and maintaining it for leadership and board use.
  • Manage the forecast, defend assumptions, and ensure model accuracy against reality.
  • Oversee the month-end close process end-to-end, including accruals, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
  • Design the close process to become more efficient over time.
  • Manage the full order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, collections, and revenue integrity.
  • Drive planning and capital strategy, including burn rate, runway, and scenario planning.
  • Develop dashboards and board materials for data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner on fundraising activities.
  • Act as an analytical partner to the business, focusing on pricing, gross margin, CAC and payback, cohort economics, and ROI for major expenditures.
  • Build the finance operating system, including tooling, controls, and cadences.
  • Automate recurring tasks and create playbooks for future finance hires.
