About The Position

As the Manager Finance – Digital Transformation & Business Projects, you will play a leading role in shaping the future of Finance through digital transformation, automation and advanced AI-enabled solutions. Working across FP&A, Controllership and Treasury, you will drive the implementation of innovative technologies, analytics, automation and AI solutions that enhance efficiency, improve decision-making and create business value. In close collaboration with business partners across Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations and IT, you will help modernize finance processes, reporting and analytics capabilities. You will report directly to the VP Finance and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Novelis Europe’s digital transformation journey while building a strong platform for future career growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital transformation, business intelligence, data analytics, process automation or related technology-focused roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling and enterprise systems, supported by several years of hands-on SAP experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to connect detailed analysis to broader business objectives.
• Self-motivated and hands-on individual with a proven ability to work independently and deliver tangible business results
• Fluent in English

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OneStream, Databricks or similar planning and analytics platforms is an advantage.
• The preferred candidate brings strong technical expertise in operational and manufacturing finance, with experience in planning, forecasting, costing, performance management and financial reporting.
• German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, development and deployment of digitalization, automation and AI initiatives across Finance key business processes.
• Drive the adoption of advanced technologies, including AI-powered solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot), automation platforms, Power BI and data analytics tools.
• Serve as the key Finance partner for digital transformation initiatives across Novelis Europe.
• Design and implement scalable reporting, planning and analytical solutions that provide timely insights into financial performance, production, shipments, inventory and operational KPIs.
• Develop integrated data models and analytics capabilities that combine financial and operational data to support strategic and day-to-day decision-making.
• Lead and support training initiatives that increase digital literacy and drive adoption of new technologies across Finance and the broader organization.
• Lead end-to-end project execution from ideation through implementation, ensuring delivery of sustainable business benefits.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, automation tools and AI advancements to identify opportunities for continued innovation within Finance.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner, overseeing ad hoc analyses that provide actionable insights into business performance and support key decisions.
• Build strong partnerships across Finance, IT, Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain to align digital initiatives with business priorities.
