About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Finance Lead / Controller to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight on a part-time, interim basis. This is a six-month engagement requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting and finance expertise, hands-on leadership experience, and the ability to quickly assess and improve financial processes in a growing organization. This role will be hybrid, with a greater onsite presence expected during the initial onboarding and transition period to ensure a thorough understanding of the business, financial operations, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

Significant experience in a Controller, Finance Manager, Finance Lead, or similar senior-level finance role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ability to work independently and provide strategic guidance with limited oversight.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience with Acumatica ERP is strongly preferred.
Experience working in dynamic or growing organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level financial leadership and support to company leadership.
Oversee accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting processes.
Review financial statements and provide insights on business performance.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend operational improvements.
Support leadership with strategic decision-making through data-driven financial insights.
Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting and finance-related initiatives.
