The Finance Lead collaborates with the broader PGS Finance team to deliver against shared objectives. Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Business Partnership and Financial Leadership Accountable for the financial performance of PC1, including annual revenue of approximately $1.0B – $1.2B, gross margin and income before tax. Partner with manufacturing site finance, which owns the underlying cost base, to analyze cost performance, challenge assumptions and identify margin improvement opportunities. Serve as the primary finance partner to PC1 leadership, providing business consultation and thought partnership on strategic and operational decisions. Analyze business and market trends, proactively identify risks and opportunities, communicate them to management with a clear recommended course of action, and partner on resolution. Provide analytical support for key business decisions, including resource prioritization and allocation, working capital management and capital projects. Planning, Forecasting and Analysis Lead the annual Operating Plan process for PC1, including resource and capacity optimization. Develop accurate and timely financial forecasts, supported by clear variance analysis and articulation of the underlying drivers. Lead PC1 Finance Transformation to an AI Native Finance Organization Build and maintain scenario and sensitivity analysis to support planning under uncertainty. Business Development Support Serve as the finance partner to PC1 business development activity, providing business case development, financial modeling and valuation analysis. Provide financial analysis that informs pricing and deal economics. Accountability for commercial pricing decisions and contract terms sits with the Commercial and Business Development teams; this role is accountable for the quality, integrity and transparency of the financial analysis supporting those decisions. Provide financial due diligence support for prospective PC1 opportunities, including understanding and challenging cost estimates from manufacturing sites. Controls and Compliance Ensure the integrity and accuracy of PC1 financial statements and compliance with Pfizer policies and procedures. Maintain a strong internal control environment across PC1 finance processes and manage the SOX compliance for PC1 organization. People and Organizational Leadership Lead, develop and retain a team of three finance professionals supporting PC1 operations: a Manager, a Senior Analyst and a Finance Associate, all reporting directly to this role. Build a high-performing, engaged team culture and actively develop talent in line with Pfizer values and talent objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive, multi-disciplinary finance experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Demonstrated experience as a finance business partner supporting a complex business or business unit.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of finance professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial forecasting, scenario planning and business case development.
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing operations or manufacturing finance experience.
  • P&L accountability, including revenue planning, forecasting and margin management.
  • Experience supporting business development, contract negotiation or commercial partnership activity.
  • Experience operating across a multi-legal-entity structure.
  • MBA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
