Position Summary Collaborates with the accounting team by maintaining financial records and ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded.

Nice To Haves

Junior or senior working toward a 4 year accounting degree
Prior internship or related experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Prepares and presents accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts within the ledgers.
Reviews and resolves discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
Reconciles and posts financial activity to ensure that payments are charged to the correct accounts.
Maintains accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles accounts to the general ledger.
Collaborates in monthly closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
