The Finance Intern supports the finance team in basic accounting and reporting tasks. The role provides practical exposure to financial operations and helps interns develop a working understanding of accounting systems and processes in a real business environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial data
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical accuracy
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in recording and organizing financial transactions
- Learn and use QuickBooks to input data and extract basic reports, including the General Ledger
- Support account reconciliation and data checking tasks
- Help maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist the finance team with simple reporting and ad-hoc tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members and follow guidance from senior staff
