About The Position

Johnny Was is seeking a motivated Summer Finance Intern to support the Finance and Accounting team while gaining exposure to a wide range of business functions across the organization. This role provides hands-on experience in retail and wholesale financial operations, reporting, inventory management, stores, eCommerce, and administrative support.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Finance and Accounting team with data entry and record maintenance.
Support Accounts Payable (AP) invoice processing and related documentation.
Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and financial analyses.
Assist with the creation of presentations and meeting materials.
Attend and observe meetings to gain exposure to business operations and decision-making processes.
Perform routine administrative and organizational tasks as assigned.
Provide support to other departments on projects, data management, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
