About The Position

The Finance Intern will assist with Accounts Payable related wage index analyses and preparation of Medicare provider-based attestations. This is a full-time, remote position anticipated to be a day shift from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with flexibility available to accommodate a student's class schedule. This role is fully remote and open to candidates in AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY. No relocation, sponsorship, or visa transfer is offered for this position.

Requirements

Current enrollment with junior status at a regional accredited college or university.
Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.
Grade point average of at least 2.5.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
Strong teamwork skills.
Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.

Nice To Haves

Current pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related business field.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist with Accounts Payable related wage index analyses.
Assist with preparation of Medicare provider-based attestations.
Receive exposure to various aspects of health care from the view of the area of concentration.
Adhere to established Service Standards.
