About The Position

Perpay is seeking a Finance Intern for Summer 2027 to gain real work experience before graduation. During this 10-12 week internship, you will work directly on Perpay’s financial reporting and strategic finance initiatives. Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, using tools like Excel to analyze key metrics and support decision-making processes. You will help analyze financial performance related to our e-commerce, credit building, and credit card operations, contributing to insights that drive growth and profitability. Your ability to manipulate and analyze data to communicate findings will be critical to your success in this internship. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams throughout Perpay to prepare and deliver ad hoc strategic financial models that empower different aspects of our growing company. Candidates hired for this role will be placed in one of the following functional areas based on fit and business need, determined after the hiring process: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Operations & Treasury.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028 (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
• Interest in FinTech and the consumer credit landscape
• Deep understanding of financial statements and models
• Proficiency in Excel

Nice To Haves

• Enrolled in an MBA, Master’s Degree or advanced quantitative degree
• Previous work experience in a quantitative field
• Background in capital markets and/or valuation of assets
• Proficiency in SQL
