About The Position

Ottimate is an AI-powered AP [Accounts Payable] automation platform that empowers finance teams to reduce costs, prevent overpayments, detect fraud, and enforce policy compliance across the entire invoice-to-payment lifecycle.
As a Finance Intern, you won't just be learning traditional corporate finance—you’ll get a front-row seat to how a fast-growing, Series-B B2B SaaS company manages its financial ecosystem.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (comfort with formulas like VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables is required).
• An interest in AI, automation, and B2B SaaS.
• You pride yourself on accuracy and spot errors before others do.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are comfortable collaborating across fully remote or hybrid team settings.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with standard accounting tools or a desire to master cloud ERPs is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day corporate AP and accounting tasks—living our mission by helping manage workflows, vendor records, and internal reconciliations.
• Support the team in tracking and organizing key SaaS growth data (such as ARR, MRR, customer churn, and net revenue retention) for executive dashboards.
• Help process internal employee expense reports, manage corporate spend logs, and cross-reference purchasing documentation.
• Partner with internal accountants during the month-end closing process, assisting with bank ledger updates, data verification, and journal entries.
• Gain deep product knowledge by utilizing modern ERP integrations (like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks) and seeing how financial data maps across systems.
• Help research market trends, organize data for financial audits, and support special strategic projects for the corporate operations team.
