About The Position

ISO New England is seeking a motivated accounting student for a Finance Internship focused on Accounting & Budgeting. This role offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks, working with finance professionals on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The intern will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, reconciliations, and monthly accounting activities, gaining exposure to corporate finance and contributing to the reliable operation of a major regional organization. This internship is ideal for a rising junior majoring in Accounting who is eager to build practical finance experience.

Requirements

Current enrollment in a four-year accounting program; rising junior preferred.
Interest in budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, financial reporting, or business analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning accounting or finance applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity, attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
Completed at least the first year of college and currently enrolled in a four-year or graduate-level academic program.
Must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Support the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting activities.
Prepare analysis.
Review financial information.
Support reporting needs.
Assist with reconciliations and journal entries.
Contribute to month-end close processes.
