About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team. The Finance Intern will provide valuable support to the finance department, assisting with various financial tasks and gaining hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. This internship will offer a unique opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the field of finance while contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive and willing to learn.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is a plus.
Currently enrolled in related degree program

Responsibilities

Assist in financial analysis and reporting by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
Help with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support the finance team in day-to-day operations, including processing invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
Conduct research on financial trends, competitors, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation.
Provide administrative support, such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
Stay up to date with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the finance manager.
Other duties as assigned.
