Intern - Finance - Plymouth, MN – Summer 2027
About The Position
Join Philips as a Finance Intern for a paid, three-month Summer 2027 internship at the company’s Plymouth, Minnesota location. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to corporate finance, business partnering, analytics, and strategic planning in the MedTech industry while supporting high-impact business decisions. The role involves working independently with guidance from a finance mentor and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. It is an office role; office-based teams work in person at least three days per week, and onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities. Candidates must reside in or within commuting distance of Plymouth, MN. Company relocation benefits are not provided. US work authorization is required, and Philips will not consider candidates who need visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business analytics, or a related field.
- Curious, analytical, and eager to learn how finance supports business strategy and decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Experience using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in using AI, automation, and data tools to improve analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
- Must be able to perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodation.

- Must reside in or within commuting distance of Plymouth, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic finance projects connected to the Annual Operating Plan and key business priorities.
- Analyze revenue, profitability, spending, and business performance trends to identify actionable insights.
- Partner with finance mentors and business stakeholders to develop decision-support materials and recommendations.
- Use Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, and process efficiency.
