About The Position

Sese is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Finance Intern for a paid internship. The role offers students or recent graduates hands-on finance experience, opportunities to develop professional skills, and the chance to contribute to projects in a collaborative environment. The intern works closely with the Finance department and cross-functional teams to support daily operations, finance programs, and organizational development initiatives. The position is on-site and requires adherence to company safety and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily Finance operations, including administrative tasks, document organization, and file maintenance.
Support accounts payable processes, including validating federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
Contribute to Finance projects, including process improvements and data tracking.
Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment; identify discount opportunities; and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
Record, verify documentation for, and distribute petty cash.
Calculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
