About The Position
The Finance Intern would be responsible for analyzing Conner Prairie’s investment statements and preparing journal entries to record gains, losses, distributions, and other activities in the investments. The Finance Intern would also be responsible for preparing various Excel spreadsheets that are used for analysis by the Accounting Dept in day-to-day departmental activities.
Requirements
- Candidate is a current undergraduate college student majoring in Accounting or Finance
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills desired (e.g., knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, and conditional formatting)
- Extremely detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Excel spreadsheets used by the Accounting Department to manage investments, revenue, and expenses.
- Assist the A/R Specialist with analyzing and recording revenue.
- Assist the A/R Specialist in reviewing and managing the documentation received from the investments.
- Assist the A/P Specialist in analyzing monthly expenses.
