About The Position

The Finance Intern (Financial Planning & Analysis) will support the Global FP&A team in financial reporting, data management, budgeting, and analysis activities. This role offers an opportunity to work directly with Finance leadership and contribute to key initiatives that improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial reporting across global operations. The intern will play an important role in the company's global finance standardization efforts, helping to streamline reporting processes, support the development of a global chart of accounts, and improve financial data consistency across multiple international entities, including Europe, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Brazil, and the United Kingdom. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student interested in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, and data driven business decision making to gain meaningful experience while contributing to a critical global finance transformation initiative.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; coursework or interest in data analytics, financial modeling, or business reporting is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with Datarails and multidimensional data cubes
  • Exposure to ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly financial reporting and close cycle.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of standardized management reporting.
  • Support Datarails and multidimensional data cube maintenance and enhancements.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare actuals-to-budget and prior-year variance analyses.
  • Contribute to global data-management initiatives focused on improving data consistency and reporting accuracy.
  • Help standardize financial data across global entities and support the development of a global chart of accounts.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by the FP&A team.
  • Collaborate with finance team members across multiple regions and time zones.
