About The Position

Turing is seeking finance experts to work with researchers to improve the performance of AI models. Experts may specialize in areas such as capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting, and other finance topics. No prior AI experience is required.

The role involves evaluating large language models in finance domains where they perform poorly, creating rubrics to assess model capabilities in areas such as deal analysis and M&A assessments, and collaborating with AI researchers and other finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks. This is a freelance opportunity with a flexible commitment of 10–30 hours per week, initially for approximately one month, with possible extension depending on performance and project needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, financial consulting, or another finance role.
• Strong grasp of financial concepts relevant to the candidate’s area of expertise, such as investment analysis, research, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, and risk management.
• Excellent written communication in English.

Nice To Haves

• CFA Level I, II, or III.
• CA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM models in finance areas where they do not perform well.
• Create rubrics to assess model capabilities in specific finance domains, such as deal analysis and M&A assessments.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.
