As a Finance Expert within PNC's Shared Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is within Shared Services Finance supporting Technology and more specifically either the Presidents CIO or the Enterprise Technology/Infrastructure organizations. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Direct interaction and support of Technology Segment CIO and corresponding business office. Preparation of Technology Business cases to support Initiatives, outline financial impact, business justification, ROI, etc. All business cases are taken to committee for subsequent review and approval. Consolidation, analysis and review of monthly results, creation of monthly expense forecast and annual plan via direct interaction with the technology business leader. Financial analysis on staffing models for internal and external labor. Review and approval of vendor contracts impacting the specific line of business. Creation, Review, and approval of monthly journal entries, account reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation. Seeking individual with preferred but not required skillsets such as Hyperion, Oracle Financials, Ariba, full suite of Microsoft Products. Designs and leads preparation of timely, transparent, and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders. Collaborates with business unit leaders to produce timely and precise revenue, expense, and staffing forecasts. Develops strategic insights from data to enhance budget and forecast accuracy. Serves as a senior expert for the team. Leads annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting. Leads development of long term strategic plans. Presents business leaders and executives with key financial forecasts, metric-driven performance dashboards, and strategic business insights. Performs on-demand analysis and generates custom reports to address specific business needs. Collaborates independently with the business on implementation and compliance of new accounting and regulatory standards. Facilitates audit, regulatory, and investor requests by providing timely and accurate information. May communicate directly with external constituents. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes. May also contribute to risk review and challenge for assigned business. Demonstrates executive presence and the ability to effectively communicate directly with senior leaders and influence colleagues across all organization levels. Cultivates partnerships with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment and shared success.
