The CASH Campaign of Maryland (Creating Assets, Savings and Hope) promotes economic advancement for low-to-moderate income individuals and families in Baltimore and across Maryland. CASH is seeking a hands-on accounting professional to serve as the organization’s first Finance Director and elevate the financial leadership and strategy of the organization. Established in 2017, CASH has an annual budget of between $3-4 million, with substantial revenue from government grants as well as foundations, program income, corporate, and individual contributions. The Finance Director will join a six-person management team and work collaboratively with them to develop strategy and help strengthen CASH’s long-term sustainability and impact. This is a rare opportunity for a finance professional who wants to grow with an organization and do more than just manage the books. The Finance Director is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s finances and, in partnership with the CEO and COO, the overall financial health of CASH Campaign. This position works closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and staff to maintain sound fiscal management, ensure regulatory compliance, and align financial resources with the organization's mission and goals. The ideal candidate brings a background in nonprofit accounting and grant management, with the ability to move comfortably between day-to-day financial operations and reporting and higher-level strategic thinking. CASH currently employs an Operations Manager and external accounting firm that will work in collaboration with this position.
