About The Role: Reporting to the VP of Global Finance, the Finance Director, Data Analytics is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the design, development, and delivery of financial analytics across the enterprise. This role blends deep technical expertise in modern data platforms with strong financial acumen and business partnership. The ideal candidate is fluent in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and multiple ERP ecosystems—including SAP S4/Hana, JD Edwards, Business Central, and IFS—and can translate complex data into actionable insights that drive performance, profitability, and operational excellence. This leader will shape the company’s KPI framework, build scalable data models, and partner with business leaders to unlock real‑time analytics that support decision‑making in a fast‑growing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or advanced analytics degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analytics, FP&A, or data‑driven finance roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern data modeling techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERPs / financial systems
  • Proven ability to design KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver insights that drive business performance.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for non‑technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DAX, SQL, Python, or other analytics languages.
  • Experience with SAP S4/Hana, Treasury Management Systems and OneStream.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and master data management.
  • Background in manufacturing, operations, or multi‑business‑line environments.
  • Strong process orientation and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience in high‑growth, multi‑system, or acquisition‑heavy environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and governance of financial data models within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with enterprise data architecture.
  • Integrate data from multiple ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Business Central, IFS, and others) to create unified, trusted financial datasets.
  • Define data pipelines, ingestion processes, and transformation logic to support real‑time analytics and automated reporting.
  • Partner with IT, data engineering, and business teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and system interoperability.
  • Develop advanced dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations using Power BI and other visualization tools.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise‑wide KPIs, performance metrics, and standardized reporting frameworks.
  • Build predictive and diagnostic analytics to support forecasting, pricing, customer profitability, and operational performance.
  • Drive automation of manual reporting processes to improve speed, accuracy, and insight generation.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders across multiple functions to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and define analytical requirements.
  • Translate business questions into structured data problems and deliver insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Provide financial and analytical support for pricing strategies, customer profitability analysis, and commercial performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, presenting insights in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are embedded in all analytics processes.
  • Support SOX‑related data and reporting controls as needed.
  • Champion continuous improvement, driving adoption of new tools, techniques, and best practices in financial analytics.
  • Mentor analysts and cross‑functional partners on data literacy, visualization techniques, and analytical storytelling.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop analytics talent to build a high-performing team capable of supporting the company's data strategy at scale.
