About The Position

The Finance Sales Clerk/Lot Attendant is primarily responsible for assisting Finance Administrators with financial documents for customers, sales inventory operations including vehicle upkeep and merchandising, lot display and maintenance, and vehicle transportation while maintaining the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and retention.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain a thorough understanding of all financial documents provided in the finance office.
Clearly present financial documents to customers for review and signatures.
Review and proof signing of financial documents to ensure accurate completion.
Send contracts to the banks for funding and follow up to ensure approval from financial sources on all finance deals.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources.
Print 40 day temporary permits with appropriate lien holders.
Must maintain control of cash, checks, and documentation until properly transferred to Accounting Office.
Coordinate with Customer Experience Consultants for smooth customer transition to delivery.
Assist Sales Managers as needed.
Verify that all vehicles are properly merchandised and have certified stickers, certification pack, “as-is” buyers guide, and dealer stickers, and best price card.
Transport vehicles between departments as necessary.
Inspect sales vehicles for cosmetic damage and transport to the correct repair facility.
Rearrange rows of vehicles as necessary to maintain the optimum use of the lot.
Ensure that the vehicles are clean, fueled, and are free of obvious mechanical issues.
Remove snow from lot and vehicles as necessary.
Make deliveries and pickups when requested.
