About The Position

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for understanding the financial consequences of business decisions and translating financial information into business insights, and vice versa. This role involves close collaboration with Group Finance to improve data quality for better decision-making and performance tracking. The partner will advise the Business Unit on future financial performance, provide forward-looking financial insights, and support with KPI targets. They will also lead forecast and budget processes, conduct scenario analysis, and identify risks. Continuous improvement of Business Unit monitoring and standardization of best practices are key. The role also includes supporting ad-hoc analyses, projects, and extracting/analyzing data from ERP systems. The Finance Business Partner will act as the Finance partner for the PMO, responsible for POC updates and supporting monthly accounting entries.

Requirements

  • Relevant University Experience Within Finance, or equivalent work experience with 5+ years.
  • Professional experience in financial analysis.
  • Proficient skills in Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Communication skills.
  • Analytic mindset.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Close collaboration with other functions with Group Finance to ensure improved quality of internal and external data to enable better business decision making and performance tracking.
  • Advise the Business Unit in areas related to future state financial performance, including consulting and coaching, forward looking financial insight.
  • Responsible for transparent and comprehensive presentation of the Business Units through Monthly Business Reviews as well as in other less formal forums.
  • Supporting the Business Units and their respective subdivisions with appropriate KPI targets, to ensure positive development in the businesses.
  • Close collaboration with other colleagues in Corporate Development and Business Finance to ensure high utilization of internal knowledge and structures, such as databooks.
  • Lead the forecast and budget work for Business Units, including scenario analysis, and identification and mitigation plans of risks.
  • Continuous improvement of Business Unit monitoring and gradual standardization of best practices and models to increase visibility and stability.
  • Support with various ad-hoc analysis, projects, and investigations.
  • Extract, analyze and interpret data from ERP systems to support financial reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Be the Finance partner for the PMO.
  • Responsible for the POC updates, generate support for monthly accounting entries to Accounting department.
