Requirements

• 3-6 years of law firm experience.
• Demonstrated experience with leveraged finance, although candidates with other commercial lending experience will be considered.
• Proactive, with a strong business sense.
• Skilled in drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents.
• Committed to delivering excellent client service.
• Strong work ethic, team player attitude.
• Action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.
• High initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills.
• Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in.

Nice To Haves

• Specific experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending and sponsor finance.

Responsibilities

• Representing primarily banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions.
• Drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation.
• Effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.
• Communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Deliver excellent client service.
• Take on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.
• Identify pro bono organizations and matters to work with.
