About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Insurance Specialist for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity with a well-established automotive financial services organization in Irving, TX. This position supports the Finance & Insurance Department within the Recovery Bankruptcy Center and is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in financial services and corporate operations. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply! Candidates with a bachelor's degree and relevant work, internship, or professional experience will be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working with financial transactions, reports, and detailed account information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Previous professional, internship, administrative, banking, finance, insurance, accounting, or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collect service contract and insurance refunds from dealerships
  • Process and reconcile daily financial transactions
  • Prepare and complete reconciliation reports
  • Research account information and respond to research requests
  • Identify and assist with resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Communicate and follow up with dealerships and internal departments as needed
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while ensuring accuracy
  • Assist with special projects and departmental assignments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
