About The Position

The Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for coordinating the sale of finance and insurance programs at the dealership. This role involves working closely with lenders and financial institutions to provide financial services that meet customer needs while supporting dealership profitability. This position requires dedication to company policies, standards, and compliance with reporting requirements. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs. Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of F&I producer experience in an automotive dealership.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Successful completion of motor vehicle report (MVR), background check, and pre-employment drug test required.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Management training in Finance and Insurance preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success and positive customer satisfaction results.

Responsibilities

  • Sell financing and insurance products to customers using a structured menu selling process.
  • Review customer credit applications and assess financing arrangements for dealership profitability.
  • Offer extended service contracts and owner protection programs to customers.
  • Ensure all financing documentation is complete and compliant with company and legal standards using checklists.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive financial service goals.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning financial services.
  • Support and adhere to the dealership’s Safeguard and Transaction compliance programs.
  • Act as liaison between customers and lending institutions throughout the financing process.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and promote a positive employee relations environment.
