About The Position

Provides professional service and expertise in a broad, overarching and unspecified area of financial matters, which may include planning, analysis and reporting accountabilities for organizational unit(s) assigned. in a range of functional areas of all Siemens organization. The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities, with a strong focus on tariff impacts, freight-related costs, and key financial line items. This role works closely with reporting systems and business data to monitor performance, validate financial transactions, identify trends, and provide timely insights to management. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across functions while supporting ongoing improvements in financial and controlling processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree plus additional years of experience in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields
  • 2-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting or related positions
  • Strong financial analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with financial data, performance metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to review, verify, and approve financial transactions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and other standard business applications.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting broader team and project goals.
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of tariff-related financial processes, freight payments, or cost analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete financial planning and reporting activities, particularly those related to tariff impacts and financial line items.
  • Work closely with reporting systems, including CassPort, and analyze tariff-related data for accuracy and insight.
  • Verify and approve payments to freight forwarders related to tariffs and associated charges.
  • Perform financial analysis related to trends, financial structure, assets, cash flow, liabilities, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators and business performance, and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Support projects focused on developing and improving financial and controlling standards, processes, and guidelines.
  • Carry out operational finance tasks and project work assigned by management.
  • Maintain working relationships with external financial experts such as banks, tax advisors, and auditors.
  • Contribute to the development of financial concepts, standards, and best practices based on operational experience.
  • Provide functional leadership or support cross-functional initiatives when needed.
