About The Position

This role is responsible for leading the monthly Best Estimates and actual process, consolidating information for senior management, and performing variance analysis. The Finance Analyst will manage the Purchasing P&L, handle MCM database reporting, and serve as the finance lead for tariff accrual and payment processes. This position also acts as a liaison between purchasing operations and various finance functions, supports commodity controllers/divisions in achieving business plan and forecast targets, and represents North America finance within the global purchasing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in order to guide purchasing operations
• Motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and multi-task
• Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills
• Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the general purchasing processes and big picture view of the product cost development process
• Understanding of basic accounting
• Familiarity with SOX and audit requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly Best Estimates and actual process
• Consolidate information from all divisional controllers for presentation to senior management
• Perform variance analysis and explanations
• Purchasing P&L management and MCM database reporting
• Finance lead on tariff accrual and payment process
• Act as liaison between purchasing operations and respective finance functions (purchasing, finance, accounting, treasury, etc.)
• Support commodity controllers/divisions in achievement of their business plan and forecast targets (economics and savings)
• Act as North America finance representative within the extended global purchasing team
