About The Position

Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program designed to provide meaningful work, feedback, coaching, and engaging events to spark interest in a full-time career at Key post-college. Interns participate in line of business specific projects that impact Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking opportunities, Learning Labs with speakers on various topics, and an assigned mentor. Key's Finance organization acts as a strategic partner, providing financial information, performance analysis, and advice. The Accounting function (Controllership) is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, and preparing regulatory reports. The Finance/Accounting internship offers hands-on experience with projects within the Finance organization, working on deliverables, ad hoc projects, and presentations. Interns receive networking opportunities with the Finance Leadership team and professionals throughout Finance and Accounting, and participate in training and events to broaden skills. Interns are eligible for consideration for full-time placement in the Finance Analyst Rotational Program after graduation and successful completion of the internship.

Requirements

  • Graduating with a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2028 with focused coursework in finance, accounting, economics and/or data science (preferred)
  • Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.2 GPA)
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
  • Solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • KeyBank’s Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

  • Assist in development of financial projections
