About The Position

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee the organization's accounting operations and financial reporting. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights that support business growth and operational success. The Finance & Accounting Manager will supervise the accounting team while overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting support, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is an analytical leader with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of financial controls and accounting best practices. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience required
  • Previous management or supervisory experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the accounting team
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Monitor cash flow and support financial decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance
