The Final Inspector position is based in Claremont, NC.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in the quality control area.
  • Experienced in using computers for tracking and updating kit location for customer service.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting all strings and detailing the whole piece of furniture.
  • Assuring ticket and fabric are correct with the frame piece.
  • Inspecting overall appearance by visually checking the furniture.
  • Completing final inspection, including ensuring all seams are sewn straight, no dropped stitches, no puckered fabric, no visible fabric defects, cushion corners are even side to side with correct tailoring, cushions & backs are filled out correctly and fit the piece, no lumps or cat tracks, and all welt is straight and even.
  • Assuring all deck labels are in the correct location.
  • Taking photos of each piece for tracking quality issues.
