As a Final Mile Driver, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering local freight, excluding hazardous materials, using a non CDL-A vehicle. This role emphasizes the safe and timely transportation of goods from origin to destination, involving loading and unloading shipments, with or without mechanical assistance, and frequent physical tasks like lifting, pulling, and carrying freight. You will also be required to inspect your vehicle for safe operating condition before, during, and after trips, submitting a written Vehicle Condition Report. Additionally, you must verify shipping papers to ensure no hazardous materials are present and manage all necessary shipping documentation.
