About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet strong customer demand. This opportunity offers flexibility, allowing you to accept jobs that match your team's skills, equipment, and qualifications. High demand exists for basketball hoop installations, fitness equipment assembly, and fitness equipment repair. You will also have opportunities in other final-mile categories such as furniture and home goods.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Be tech-savvy to use mobile applications for order completion.
Provide and maintain the necessary tools and vehicle(s) for completing orders.
Possess an EIN.
Comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Responsibilities

Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most assignments.
Own or lease a pickup truck, van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
Ensure EIN and DOT compliance (MC# required for some interstate work).
Obtain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Accept jobs that match your team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only tasks (one-person job) by arriving at the customer's home and assembling the product on-site.
Perform Delivery and Assembly tasks (two-person team) by picking up from a local retailer, delivering to the customer's home, and assembling to manufacturer specifications.
Perform Repair tasks (one-person job) by arriving at the customer's home and repairing according to manufacturer instructions using manufacturer-provided parts.
Service products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
