About The Position
AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories such as furniture and home goods. Contractors can earn between $40,000-$100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept only the jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. Service types include Assembly Only, Delivery and Assembly (requiring a two-person team), and Repair.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to use mobile applications to complete orders.
- Must provide and maintain tools and vehicle(s) used to complete orders.
- Must have an EIN.
- Must comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
- Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with basketball hoop installation (portable & in-ground).
- Experience with fitness equipment assembly and repair.
- Experience with furniture and home goods delivery/assembly.
- Experience with backyard products like playsets, pergolas, gazebos, grills, and patio sets.
Responsibilities
- Act as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most work.
- Own or lease a suitable vehicle (pickup, van, sprinter, or small box truck) if performing delivery work.
- Ensure EIN and DOT compliance (MC# may be required for interstate work).
- Maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
- Accept jobs that match your team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
- Perform on-site assembly of products according to manufacturer specifications.
- Pick up products from local retailers, deliver to customer homes, and assemble them.
- Perform on-site repairs according to manufacturer instructions using provided parts.
