About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories such as furniture and home goods. Contractors can earn between $40,000 and $100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. High demand is currently noted for basketball hoop installations, fitness equipment assembly, and fitness equipment repair.

Requirements

Must be a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most work.
Must own or lease a pickup truck, van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
Must possess an EIN.
Must have a DOT compliance (MC# required for some interstate work).
Must possess a COI that meets AIT requirements.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
Must be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Must be tech-savvy to use mobile applications to complete orders.
Must provide and maintain tools and vehicle(s) used to complete orders.
Must comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Must pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Responsibilities

Perform delivery and assembly of products such as basketball hoops (portable & in-ground), fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, etc.), ready-to-assemble furniture and home goods, and backyard products (playsets, pergolas, gazebos, grills, patio sets, etc.).
Conduct assembly-only services at customer homes.
Perform delivery and assembly services, which involves picking up products from local retailers, delivering them to customer homes, and assembling them to manufacturer specifications.
Conduct repair services at customer homes according to manufacturer instructions and using manufacturer-provided parts.
Utilize mobile applications to complete orders.
Ensure compliance with EIN and DOT regulations (MC# may be required for interstate work).
Maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Provide and maintain necessary tools and vehicle(s) for order completion.
