About The Position

The primary responsibility of the final product inspector is to visually inspect the fabric for off quality and to record the defects found. The defects will be keyed into the computer, along with other required information. The computer will generate defects per 100 yards. Quality up grades or quality-cutting decisions will be made along with management input. He/she will count picks, sley, record yards, measure width, and conduct distortion checks. Any variation from customer specifications will be reported to management immediately. He/she will weigh and record all waste cut. He/she will complete all TPM requirements on frames. He/she will maintain all records according to ISO standards.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 0-3 years experience
• Good working knowledge of computer systems (i.e., AS400)
