About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency (“RF”) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (“PCB”s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market. This position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met. The scope of this role is to prepare items for the shipping process to aid in process inspection of product after completion of processes. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to read and comprehend technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint. This role will aid in other final inspection functions to establish compliance with order specifications and conformity.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a face pace environment and have strong attention to details and able to switch between different circuit board programs.

  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience within the aerospace industry or AS9100 and OFAC helpful
  • Printed circuit board and quality experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and seal bags in preparation for shipping completed boards
  • Read, comprehend, and interpret travelers and drawings provided to assess requirements and special instructions required for jobs.
  • Inspects product under magnifying tool for opens, shorts, contamination, solder mask/legend issues etc
  • Compares size and location of holes to verify conformance to specifications when assisting for first article measurements.
  • Perform any rework operations (solder mask touch-up, remove burrs/rough spots, rework damaged areas, cover exposed copper areas with solder mask, clean and/or polish surface mount pads) that can be done inside the final inspection department.
  • Stamps mark of approval or rejection, or initials, on product or traveler.
  • Logs job in and out of ERP system with accurate counts of product.
  • Records data and complete scrap report forms.
  • Stacks finished boards with separator sheets for transfer to next workstation.
