About The Position

The Final Inspection Clerk is responsible for reconciling return authorizations, evaluating and disposing of returns, reporting findings, placing goods in unassigned stock, maintaining files and spreadsheets, and interacting positively with all departments involved in the return process. This role also includes regrading and post-inspecting when needed, adhering to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards.

Requirements

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer literate and familiar with SAP.
Post-Inspection experience.
The ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Process all returns in a timely manner and determine disposition of product – seconds, unassigned stock, stock back to customer, or imports.
Evaluate all returns to verify yards returned, correct and valid reason for return.
Report all findings to Post-Inspection Department Manager.
Work with quality group to make corrections and give feedback on returns.
Maintain spreadsheets with information on disposition of returns.
Work with Customer Service on getting new sales orders for “Stock Back To Customer Returns”.
Sort returns to be sent to appropriate parties – Circa, Perkins, Finishing.
Regrade as needed and fill in as lead regrader when necessary.
Post-inspect fabric as needed.
Perform other duties as necessary to complete the job assignment or as directed by the supervisor.
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
Maintain 5S standards.
