About The Position

The Final Detail Technician is responsible for preparing boats for delivery to owners or dealers by performing thorough cleaning, detailing, and basic preparation tasks. This includes the installation of stickers, preparation for travel, and packaging of upholstery to ensure presentation and meet quality and safety standards. The position requires physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in an outdoor, marine environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to pass required background checks or drug screenings (if applicable).
• Valid driver's license may be required, depending on job duties.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces.
• Ability to work in confined spaces such as cabins and storage compartments.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, sun, heat, and varying weather conditions.
• Must have sufficient manual dexterity and stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in boat cleaning, auto detailing, or related work is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and proper use (marine experience preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Cleans hulls, decks, cabins, windows, seating, and storage compartments.
• Removes dirt, manufacturing residue, grease, dust and debris using approved cleaning products and tools.
• Prepare boats for transport by securing loose items and ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
• Conduct basic inspections to identify visible damage or cleanliness issues and report them to a supervisor.
• Safely use cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, other additional tools or equipment as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Maintain safety training.
• Additional duties as assigned.
