About The Position

This role is in Power Drive – Transmission POD 723 Final Assembly. The assembly process involves using various tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, gauges, and hand tools. Key tasks include bolting the case to the stand, installing and aligning pistons, rings, rear planet, gears, pan, pump, valve body, and other components. The individual will use gauges or other tools to inspect for proper installation. This position requires organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the assembly processes for transmissions.

Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
Ability to use handheld tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, gauges, hoists, and hand tools.
Standing: Continuously

Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently
Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally.

Responsibilities

Utilize several types of tools including impact gun, torque wrench, gauges, and hand tools in the assembly process.
Bolt the case to the stand, rotating the case several times during assembly.
Install and align pistons, rings, rear planet, gears, pan, pump, valve body, and other parts.
Inspect with gauge or other tools to ensure proper installation.
