About The Position

Aalo Atomics is seeking a Filmmaker to capture and share the company's story. The role involves documenting the factory, hardware, and people, creating content across various formats including short-form social video, long-form documentary pieces, launch films, recruiting content, and event coverage. This is an open-ended position for a creative generalist capable of managing projects from concept to final cut.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in filmmaking, videography, or video production
Strong editing skills in professional software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
A portfolio or reel that shows your range and storytelling ability
Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX and travel for shoots when needed
Comfort in a fast-paced, hands-on hardware environment
Based in the United States

Experience with motion graphics, color grading, or sound design
Experience with photography in addition to video

Responsibilities

Plan, shoot, and edit video content for Aalo's channels and campaigns
Document engineering milestones, factory operations, and company events
Produce short-form content for social platforms and long-form content for YouTube and press
Collaborate with the brand and marketing team on creative direction and storytelling
Manage production logistics, gear, footage libraries, and post-production workflows
