About The Position

Golden Artist Colors is seeking a Filling Technician for its Operations/Filling Department in New Berlin. The position reports to the Filling Supervisor and works Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The technician supports filling operations throughout the department, including preparing supplies, operating filling machines, capping and labeling products, and putting products away. The role also helps maintain clean work areas and properly cleaned and stored equipment, participates in team meetings and process improvements, and assists other team members as needed. Production software and required paperwork are part of the work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Attention to detail and a quality focus.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Flexibility to changing workloads and willingness to work overtime when needed.
Team-player approach and willingness to assist wherever needed in the department.
Good attendance record.
Basic computer skills.
May require a physical assessment and background check.

Responsibilities

Prepare supplies for filling operations in all areas of the Filling Department.
Run filling machines.
Cap and label products and put finished product away.
Help keep the work area clean and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and returned to its proper location.
Attend filling team meetings and assist with work process improvements.
Help team members wherever needed in the department.
Use production software and complete necessary paperwork.
