About The Position

The Filling Operator 1 supports the production of culture media by operating and maintaining filling and packaging equipment. This is an entry-level role focused on following procedures, ensuring product quality, and helping the team meet daily production goals.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
No prior experience required
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance
Proficiency with basic computer tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)

Nice To Haves

manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform or assist in the setup, inspection, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning of equipment used throughout the Prepared Culture Media filling/bottling processes.
Complete production batches and corresponding documentation for the associated tasks.
Perform all ancillary tasks to support routine production, including area cleaning and 5S, movement of materials, AQL inspections, reworks, material reconciliation, and other tasks deemed necessary.
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
