About The Position

Wasatch Labs is seeking a Filling Machine Operator to join their team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting filling machines to ensure efficient and accurate product filling. The operator will monitor machine performance, perform routine inspections and basic maintenance, and conduct quality control measures. This position requires adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and safety guidelines, as well as maintaining a clean work area and collaborating with team members to meet production targets.

Requirements

Ability to set up, operate, and adjust filling machines.
Skill in monitoring machine performance and making adjustments.
Proficiency in performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Capability to conduct weight checks, volume checks, and other quality control measures.
Ability to identify and report mechanical issues, product inconsistencies, or safety hazards.
Accuracy in completing production records and batch documentation.
Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Willingness to assist in equipment changeovers.
Teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust filling machines to ensure efficient and accurate product filling.
Monitor machine performance during production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize downtime.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, including cleaning and sanitizing machinery according to company protocols.
Conduct weight checks, volume checks, and other quality control measures to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Identify and report any mechanical issues, product inconsistencies, or safety hazards to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Complete production records and batch documentation accurately and promptly.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
Assist in the changeover of equipment for different products or batch sizes as required.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve any operational challenges.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
