About The Position

The Filler Operator operates the filler machine at Peace River Citrus Products’ beverage base blending and packaging facility in Bartow, Florida, helping meet production requirements. The role ensures that products, packaging, and processes comply with company quality and food safety standards. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and follows a 2-2-3 schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Employees must be available to work extended shifts and days and may be assigned additional duties by a supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic knowledge of computer keyboard functions.
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
Excellent physical condition and coordination.
Valid certification to operate forklifts.
Ability to read, write, speak, and apply analytical skills and professional judgment to resolve work-area problems.
Ability to communicate and coordinate work with others.
Ability to use computers and electronic communication devices, including programs for preparing documents or reports as needed.
Ability to respond promptly and appropriately to operating conditions.
Ability to work with employees and leadership across departments, including senior-level management.
Flexibility to perform duties as directed by leadership.

Responsibilities

Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available.
Operate and monitor equipment, replenishing materials as needed.
Visually inspect production runs and document results.
Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area.
Work closely with blenders, other filler operators, and packaging staff.
Assist the quality lab with blending-process samples and log them manually or electronically.
Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
Follow GMP, safety, SOP, and HACCP procedures and meet Good Manufacturing Practices.
Follow OSHA and Peace River Citrus Products safety requirements.
Be available to work extended shifts and days.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
