About The Position

This job description outlines the role, responsibilities, general tasks, and functions of the Filler Operator in their daily operations. The Filler Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for all aspects of filling production and sanitation. The role prioritizes safety, quality, and production, managing issues such as light weights, yogurt flavor, loading of filler materials, machine breaks and delays, and adherence to Chobani values, standards, and culture. The operator will train on and efficiently operate their assigned machine, troubleshoot production or machine downtime issues, and clean production filling equipment. They will also complete various tasks as indicated on the Job Duties Worksheet, such as cleaning walls, floors, piping, electrical panels, control boxes, and floor mats. Additionally, the operator will fill out all required paperwork during their shift, including X-Ray, Control sheets, Pallet sheets, MDI boards, and Cleaning checklists. The position requires the ability to cross-train and learn other equipment, and adherence to Chobani safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Basic math skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Walking on wet floors, climbing stairs, and being on feet for long periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for anything and everything involving filling production and sanitation
  • Manage any issues involving light weights, yogurt flavor, loading of filler materials, machine breaks and delays
  • Follow changes in filler room procedures
  • Stay in line with Chobani values, standard and culture
  • Train on and operate the machine they are assigned to efficiently
  • Troubleshoot any production or machine down time issues as they arise
  • Clean Production filling equipment in the filler room
  • Complete tasks as needed and as indicated on Job Duties Worksheet (foam clean walls, floors, piping, electrical panels, control boxes, floor mats, etc.)
  • Complete other tasks as needed
  • Fill out all required paperwork during their shift to include X-Ray, Control sheets, Pallet sheets, MDI boards and Cleaning check lists for the lines they are working on
  • Ability to cross train and learn other pieces of equipment
  • Follow Chobani safety procedures
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
